Choosing a Litter Box
I have 2 cats. I ordered 2 litter boxes because I want to rotate them, to keep them cleaner for the cats. These boxes are open and easy to get into. They hold plenty of litter. I recommend keeping 3 to 4 inches of clumping clay litter in each box. Lift out the clumps at least once a day; put the lumps in a plastic bag and discard them in a receptacle with a that also has a closing lid.

Back up litter box
I have an automatic litterbox but if the power goes out, wifi goes down, or if it malfunctions in any way my cat cant use it. I keep one of these as a back up. She only uses it if she cannot use the automatic one. Works great for that, perfect size as a back up.
